Inner Rhythm
Day Retreat
Sunday November 17, 2024
Connect to your inner rhythm
In the busyness of life, we often find ourselves marching to the beat of other people’s drums. But what if you could take a moment to pause, reconnect, and rediscover your own inner rhythm? It can feel like coming home.
Join us for a full day of retreat, surrounded by nature and in the company of new friends. This is your chance to slow down, to find balance between movement and stillness, and to immerse yourself in the rhythms of life—whether it’s the beat of a drum, the pulse of nature, or the flow of your own breath.
Our Retreat Experience
We’ll begin the day with a calming guided meditation, inviting you to fully arrive in the present moment. As you settle in, you’ll notice the sights, sounds, and smells of the bush around you, grounding yourself in the "now" through your senses.
From there, we’ll move into an energizing yet gentle yoga session to awaken the body and lift your energy. It’s a chance to move with purpose, letting your breath guide the way.
Then, we’ll sit down for lunch (the views over the D’Entrecasteaux Channel aren’t bad either!). There’s something special about sharing a meal with others—good food, good company, and a little time to just be.
Your Host
Danielle Bendall
Danielle is passionate about sharing the tools and practices that can help people find more peace, contentment and wellbeing. She specialises in making yoga accessible and inviting to people who don't think yoga is for them. Danielle has been teaching yoga for over 10 years, and practicing for nearly 25.
In the afternoon, we’ll introduce you to the captivating rhythm of the djembe, an African hand drum. You don’t need any musical experience—just a willingness to let go and allow your body to find the beat. The rhythmic practice is both invigorating and meditative, helping you drop out of your head and into the flow.
We’ll close the day with a peaceful Yin yoga practice, allowing the stillness to settle in. The resonance of the drumbeats will echo in your body, bringing a deep sense of calm and balance as you fully relax into the moment.
