How to use BookingHawk

Updated: Apr 7

Starting in April 2026, there will be a new booking system for classes and workshops.

BookingHawk will look slightly different from the old Wix Bookings system, so here are a few tips.

  • Create an account by providing your name, email address and phone number. This will be saved in your account and you won't need to enter it every time you book a class. (Note that you have to provide the same details if you just book as a "guest", so creating an account is the best way to go).

  • If you save your credit/debit card on file, you will never need to enter that again - just a few clicks to book each class.

  • The booking page has two buttons - classes, where you select the class you want to book, and class passes, where you can buy 5, 10 and Frequent Yogi class passes. If a class pass is your preferred way to pay, buy this first before booking your classes.

  • For those who use a class pass, please note that there is no "cart" function. You will need to book each class individually but it is a lot faster than Wix.

  • Your confirmation emails will come from "Santosha Yoga Australia via BookingHawk". You might need to add this to your safe senders list.

  • You can cancel your bookings yourself in your account, whether you have paid casually or with a class pass. Note that the same 2 hour cancellation policy applies. You cannot reschedule, you must cancel and then rebook a new class. (Term bookers, you must email me as per the current process).

  • The quickest way to cancel is to click on Manage Booking from your confirmation email. From there you will be taken to that specific booking and can then click on cancel.

If you would like to see a run through of the process, watch the below video to see:

  • and see how many credits you have left on your class pass

Reminder about pass expiry dates

A reminder that class passes have an expiry:

·       5 class passes expire after 3 months – which allows you to attend about once every 2-3 weeks

·       10 class passes expire after 5 months - which allows you to attend about once every 2 weeks

·       Frequent Yogi 10 class passes, designed for those who practice more than once a week, expire after 6 weeks. If you attend twice per week every week you will use this before it expires.

The purpose of a class pass is to make it more affordable for those who commit to regular practice. I can only afford to offer this discounted rate on the basis that you are coming regularly. If you are only coming every few weeks or months, then this is what the casual rate is for.

Some people are buying passes for occasional use and then not using their pass before it expires. Please always contact me if you have a pass but have had a prolonged illness or injury that has prevented you from attending yoga – I am always happy to extend the expiry for these circumstances.

From May the expiry policy will be enforced more strictly. Thanks for your understanding.
